Behind Closed Doors

after Jean-Paul Sartre, Mikhail Volkov

Three strangers, locked in a room with no way out. No fire, no torture devices — only themselves. The production explores social masks, desire, and our relationship with ourselves.

Sartre's hell is not about others being poisonous, but about our own facades collapsing when there's nowhere left to hide.

In 2025, we reimagine this "hell" in a world of hyper-technology, fractured communities, and shifting beliefs. What does freedom mean when algorithms shape us? How do we find connection when polarization divides us?
